This soprano ukulele was made for my cousin, Sarah.
- The components are:
- Cedar top (2-piece)
- Cherry back (2-piece)
- Cherry sides (2-piece)
- Mahogany neck
- Claro walnut and cherry face plate
- Cocobolo fretboard
- Cherry fret markers (at 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 10th frets)
- Ohi’a wood bridge
- Ebony nut and saddle
- Claro walnut tail stripe and heel cap
- Graphtec tune-a-lele tuners

The Claro walnut, Cocobolo, Ebony, and Ohi’a were all donated by my uncle, Gerry VanNess. The cedar came from discarded shakes left in the attic of our 1924 house.
