This concert ukulele primarily uses woods from the Omaha Wood Company and features American elm and black walnut. This is my first attempt at an ukulele larger than a soprano. The Tonewood Data Source says that American elm is an underrated wood that sounds like maple but is warmer in the highs. In terms of hardness and density, it’s similar to mahogany.
